About


The Company

Shared Object is a software development company with a long experience in research and development projects.

We have a background in academia, and have participated in numerous Swiss and European Union R&D projects. We founded Shared Object in 2008 to work on challenging development projects.

We are currently working on a responible IT research project, in collaboration with the HES-SO.

Another project is SoftPeelR - a system for managing curling tournaments. Past projects include portfolio management and reporting applications for Geneva banks.

Our favorite programming technologies are Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, Clojure, and Java.

Our Background

Ciarán Bryce has a PhD from Rennes University on information security. He was Assistant Professor at Geneva University, a visiting professor at Sun Microsystems, and senior researcher at INRIA, France. He taught continuous education and master courses on programming and information security at Geneva University and the HES-SO.

Chrislain Razafimahefa obtained a PhD from Geneva University on runtime support for Java applications, before spending a postdoctoral year at Sun Microsystems, Palo Alto. He has since worked on development projects in Geneva for an international organization and a bank. He taught undergraduate courses on communication protocols and multimedia at Geneva University.
